U.S. Bancorp Gives K Nod to ExpertPlan
July 10, 2001 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - U. S. Bancorp has
selected ExpertPlan to provide an online 401(k) that will be
offered through its banking and retail brokerage
subsidiaries, U.S. Bank and U.S. Bancorp Piper
Jaffray.

ExpertPlan provides online set-up, record keeping and transaction management services to financial institutions, such as broker dealers, fund companies, banks and insurance companies.
ExpertPlan’s 401(k) plans also support brokers with online access to marketing materials and proposal requests
By encouraging participants to manage their own accounts, ExpertPlan hopes to eliminate third-party errors and reduce costs and administrative burdens on plan sponsors, the company said in a press release.
