Old Mutual (US) Picks Mellon EVP as CEO

July 23, 2001 (PLANSPONSOR.com) ? Old Mutual (US) Holdings Inc., has found a new CEO. Scott F. Powers of Mellon Institutional Asset Management, will take over the reins on September 1, this year

Powers, currently executive vice president of sales, marketing and product development at Mellon will take charge of all Old Mutual’s US asset management businesses, reporting to Eric Anstee, Chief Executive, Financial Services of Old Mutual.

He was hired in line with the company?s decision to focus its US asset management operations under an experience US manager, responsible for overall strategic and operational development.

Powers has a BA degree in economics from Harvard College.
