Transamerica Adds Oppenheimer Global Fund

December 11, 2000 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Transamerica Retirement Services added the Oppenheimer Global Fund to its 401(k) fund choice roster, providing an alternative to the Janus Worldwide Fund which closed to new investors earlier this year.

While plans investing in Janus Worldwide prior to May 2000 can continue to invest in the fund, the selection allows new plan sponsor clients to offer participants a global growth fund as part of the Transamerica program.

The Oppenheimer Global Fund is currently a $9 billion fund.
