Intuit/TeamVest Offer Interactive Financial Planning

November 6, 2000 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Intuit and TeamVest have just introduced AdvisorLive, a capability that will allow users to instantly connect with a financial advisor.

The AdvisorLive capability allows the financial advisor to view the consumer’s browser screen while talking to them via:

  • a second phone line
  • a cellular phone
  • instant messaging.

Users may create – and save – as many different modeling scenarios as desired, according to David Evans, Vice President/General Manager of Advisory Services for TeamVest. The service provides users with a range of possible results, rather than a single result probability.

Quicken 401k Advisor is preloaded with 401(k) plan data, including fund selections and company match formulas for more than 1100 of the largest US employers and over 40 state governments. Evans also told PLANSPONSOR.com that additional enhancements are underway, including a module for advanced users, and a possible alliance that would broaden the product’s current distribution.

The Quicken 401k Advisor by TeamVest is free on Quicken.com ( http://www.Quicken.com/401kadvisor), and through Quicken 2001.

For $19.95/month, it also provides the option of ongoing monitoring by a dedicated investment professional to help keep consumers on track toward their goals. Advisor Ongoing Monitoring provides unlimited access to a personal advisor through phone, email or the Internet as well as monitoring of the chosen strategy.
