North Dakota Pension Fund Hires for Audit, Administrator Search
June 29, 2010 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – The North Dakota Investment Board has retained a Leawood, Kansas, search firm to find a new administrator.
Reported by Fred Schneyer
The Associated Press said EFL Associates is expected to identify administrator candidates in time for an October appointment. The former administrator killed himself in April.
According to the AP, the officials also hired Clifton Gunderson, a Milwaukee firm, to audit the board’s operations for the last year. The audit should be completed by mid-August.
Board members say they want to clear up any questions how pension funds have been managed (see ND Pension Systems to be Audited Following Investment Director Suicide).
