Ibbotson Appoints New Director of Research

Associates has named Tom Idzorek as its new director of
research.

The 34-year old Idzorek will manage the research department, oversee research projects and contribute to product and service development, according to the company. He does research on asset allocation, risk-budgeting, optimization and global markets.
Idzorek, according to Ibbotson, is an expert in returns-based analysis, performance attribution, asset allocation software, fund of funds optimization and other asset allocation models.
He received a BS from Arizona State University, and an MBA from Thunderbird, The Garvin Graduate School of International Management . Before joining Ibbotson, Idzorek worked at Zephyr Associates as a researcher.
