Dieting is on Employees’ Minds

February 28, 2011 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – More than one-third of employees said weight loss is their top health concern this year, according to a new ComPsych poll.

A news release from the employee assistance program provider reported that 23% of employees said stress is their main health issue. ” Workplace wellness programs are well-suited to help employees lose weight and also address stress, which can result in improved productivity and lower health and disability costs for the organization,” said Richard A. Chaifetz, Chairman and CEO of ComPsych, in the announcement.
