NAGDCA Announces National Save for Retirement Week

July 3, 2008 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - National Save for Retirement Week in 2008 will likely be October 19 - 25.

The National Association of Government Defined Contribution Administrators (NAGDCA) announced the U.S. House of Representatives passed a resolution declaring the dates as National Save for Retirement Week. The Association said it expects a similar resolution to be approved by the U.S. Senate.

NAGDCA also said it has been working with the House Ways and Means Committee on an effort to create legislation authorizing a permanent Savings for Retirement month.
