ABA Enhances Retirement Plan Offerings

October 3, 2006 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - ABA Retirement Funds, which offers plan services for legal professionals, has added five managed retirement date funds and a Roth 401(k) option to its retirement plan offering.

According to an ABA announcement, the asset allocations for the retirement date funds – rebalanced as plan participants move toward retirement – are aimed at individuals uncomfortable changing their asset allocations over time to meet their retirement goals.

TheRoth 401(k) option may be a good choice for investors who expect to be taxed at a higher rate in retirement, individuals whose income level prevents them from contributing to a Roth IRA, and investors who plan to remain invested for at least five years, the announcement said.
