ACS and Chubb & Son Sign HR Outsourcing Contract

January 18, 2005 ( - Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (ACS), has announced that it has been awarded a human resources outsourcing contract with Chubb & Son, a part of the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies.

The contract terms call for seven years of service, according to a press release from ACS. Under the contract, ACS will provide human resources services that include:

  • payroll
  • benefits administration
  • staffing
  • training
  • and relocation services for the company’s US operations.

The contract expands upon the two companies’ relationship, having already signed a pact in November for information technology infrastructure services. With this new contract, ACS plans to create HR solutions by deploying technological tools for HR management, employee and manager self-service, performance management, and succession planning, according to the press release. ACS also plans to build the company a centralized HR data system with reporting and analytics capabilities.

Chubb & Son ( ) is a division of the Federal Insurance Company, while ACS ( ) provides information technology and business process outsourcing solutions.
