Adminstaff Uses PlanServe to Upgrade Retirement Services Biz

February 17, 2011 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - PlanServe Data Systems announced that Administaff, Inc., a provider of human resources services for small and medium-sized businesses, has selected PlanServe’s Relevant Pension Portal (RPP) Web platform to upgrade the Web-based services offered through its retirement services business.

The RPP portal will be used to provide enhanced services to more than 63,000 corporate employees and worksite employees at Administaff client companies.  PlanServe’s RPP delivers retirement administrators with the next generation Web platform for supporting retirement plan participants, plan sponsors and advisors.  RPP provides administrators the flexibility and ease of use to meet the changing requirements of the Web at affordably low implementation and ongoing maintenance costs, helping to reduce the cost per participant, according to the announcement.

PlanServe’s RPP provides Administaff with additional tools to maintain a close relationship with plan participants by presenting seamless integration with recordkeeping data as well as other data sources combined in a new, clean and easy-to-read format.

In addition, PlanServe’s next generation RPP enables more visibility to client employers and more personal mobile services to the employee workforce.  Trent Richardson, CIO for PlanServe Data Systems, said in the announcement that “the RPP platform allows our customers to roll out our mobile Pension Partner for Smartphones leveraging the same XML-based business services used by the Web.  This allows our customers to get to a more personal and mobile pension interface quicker with the lowest cost of ownership.”

To complete the administration solution, RPP’s integrated Relevant FileXchange portal provides centralized control over secure B2B data uploading and downloading for the first closed loop confirmations.   The Relevant FileXchange allows progressive administrators to automate the collection of data, transform to proper format based on predefined rules and efficiently process it.

“Automating the exchange and transformation of data with the ETL tools included in our platform allows administrators to reduce the cost of collecting data and publishing reports.  The ability to efficiently collect, transform and process payroll data with the minimum number of touchpoints is the biggest challenge for any administrator,” said David Kennedy, president of PlanServe, in the announcement.
