ADP Launches Trial of Small Business Payroll and Tax Solution

November 5, 2004 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Automatic Data Processing, Inc., through its ADS Small Business Services unit, has announced the trial launch of a new payroll solution system.

The new system, available as part of the Microsoft Office   for small businesses, will offer flexible hosted payroll and tax processing solutions that will allow users to handle all parts of the payroll system and calculate tax levels for all levels of taxation, the company said in a press release. It is designed to be used in conjunction with Microsoft’s Office Small Business Accounting system and is aimed at small business owners and accountants. It will be available in late 2005.

Purchase will be available online once clients have installed Microsoft Small Business Accounting and clients will be able to customize support levels. It will offer streamlined and automated payroll and tax processing and will transfer this data into the Small Business Accounting general ledger, according to the news release. The news release stresses the cost-efficiency offered by the product to small business owners.

ADP Small Business Services ( www.sbs.adp.com ) provides payroll management, tax and compliance, human resource management, benefits administration, time and labor management and insurance services.
