ADP Revamps Pre-Employment Services for Large Employers

June 21, 2006 ( - Automatic Data Processing (ADP) Employer Services has enhanced its pre-employment services to offer large organizations a single platform for applicant management, background checks and tax credit services.

This division of ADP focuses on outsourced payroll, benefits and human resource services. The new product integrates ADP Pre-Employment Services with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) solutions and ADP’s payroll offerings.

The platform allows employers to access information that will give them greater control to hire the best job candidates, according to the news release. 

Once job candidates are hired, the new product would allow their information to feed directly into the payroll system, eliminating the need to re-key employee data.

“We recognize that large organizations are seeking a single source provider to manage every stage of the employee lifecycle,” said Campbell Langdon, Tax, Retirement and Pre-Employment Services division president, in the release. 

The company offers ADP Pre-Employment Services to organizations with at least 1,000 employees, but the option will soon be available to mid-market organizations as well, according to the release.
