AIM Adds New Managers To Pair of Large Funds
Matthew Dennis was promoted on August 14 from his senior analyst position to join Kirk Anderson, Clas Olsson, and Barrett Sides on the management team of the Global Growth Fund. Dennis has been with AIM since 2000, when he joined the firm’s International Europe/Canada team, which supports the Global Growth Fund, according to a news release.
Prior to signing on with AIM, Dennis was an analyst working on the equity strategy desk at Hoare Govett Securities in London where he began his investment career in 1994. In 1996, he was promoted to European equity strategist at the investment banking arm of ABN AMRO.
The Constellation fund will see its newest managerial face on September 30, when Bryan Unterhalter – recently promoted to the position of portfolio manager – joins Kenneth Zschappel, Christian Costanzo, and Robert Lloyd. Unterhalter has served as a senior analyst on AIM’s Multi-Cap Growth Team, which supports AIM Constellation Fund, since 2002.
Previously, Unterhalter was an equity trader with First Interstate Bank, where he began his investment career in 1995. In 1997, he joined AIM as a domestic equity trader and later became an analyst on AIM’s International (Europe/Canada) investment management team in 1998.
