Ameriprise Announces Roth Education Tools

seminars and educational tools on the Roth 401(k)
option.

In its announcement, Ameriprise said a new seminar introduces the new plan feature and discusses the Roth 401(k) within the context of overall retirement planning. Another seminar introduces executives to the Roth 401(k) opportunity and discusses the pre vs. post tax deferral decisions that impact high net worth employees. In addition, the 401(k) plan enrollment seminar has been enhanced for plans with the Roth 401(k) feature, introducing the new plan feature and encouraging plan participation for those eligible for the Roth 401(k) feature, according to the announcement.
Other educational material provided by Ameriprise includes a general participant article and handouts with basic Roth 401(k) information, as well as an online calculator to help employees with the Roth versus regular 401(k) decision.
Organizations that implement the Roth 401(k) educational programs will also be provided with posters and seminar invitations along with enrollment forms and templates.
