Ameritas Introduces New Line of Dental Plans

According to a news release, features of the new $ensible Choice line include the ability for employers to choose whether or not to include certain tools in their offering that help keep plan costs predictable and rates stable – such as professional consultant claims review, alternate procedures, frequency limitations, and age limits.

With $ensible Choice benefits are easy for members to understand and use, Ameritas said. Reimbursements are based on the dollar amount of the dental expense and not the benefit type or procedure category. Reimbursements can either be submitted by employees or their dentists if employees do not want to pay for services up-front.

In addition, Ameritas Group plan members who see Participating Provider Organization (PPO) dentists can enjoy added cost savings from contracted prices with more than 70,000 providers nationwide.
