AMEX Advisors Get Morningstar Workstation

May 2, 2003 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - More than 10,000 advisors with American Express Financial Advisors will soon be utilizing Morningstar Advisor Workstation.

The additional Web-based investment planning and advice tool comes as a result of an agreement between American Express and Morningstar Associates, LLC.   American Express plans to integrate four modules of the Advisor workstation into its proprietary platform for financial advisors to use:  Research, Planning, Clients &Portfolios, and Sales, according to a news release.

The selection of Morningstar Advisor Workstation represents the secondinvestment advice agreement between the two firms. In January,American Express Retirement Services announced it would offerMorningstar Advice online and through call center services, to its 330 retirement plans, representingmore than 1 million individuals.
