AUL Adds Online Retirement Planning Tool

March 24, 2006 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - American United Life Insurance Company's (AUL) Retirement Services Division has announced the addition of the investment education toolbox to its Web site for AUL retirement plan sponsors and participants.

The toolbox is designed to benefit anyone, regardless of investment knowledge, offering information from retirement investment basics to complete portfolio building, the announcement said.   “This resource was designed to not only educate our customers about the importance of saving but to go a step further by explaining the strategies available and how to get started,” said Maura Kautsky, AUL’s Vice President of Retirement Services Marketing, in the announcement.

The investment education toolbox includes a glossary, planning calculators and many investment facts and tips.   In addition, it also offers the asset allocation builder tool, where users can learn about the different strategies that work with various risk levels and what rates of return can be reasonably expected from those investment options.

The retirement planning section includes calculators for financial planning purposes, including loan, paycheck, Social Security and Roth 401(k)/403(b) analyzer calculators. This section also includes a tool to help participants determine their personal retirement income strategy.

Through its Retirement Services division, AUL provides retirement plan products and services to the small and mid-sized employer market.    Its Web site is www.eretirement.aul.com .
