AUL Offering Advice by Ibbotson To Plan Participants

July 3, 2003 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Participants of American United Life Insurance Company (AUL) retirement plans now have online third-party investment advice available to them through Advice by Ibbotson.

Advice by Ibbotson provides individualized and specific guidance on how much to save and where to invest retirement plan assets for participants through a graphical Web-based interface.   Additionally, AUL has made the annual participant advice fee deductible from the participant’s account instead of billing the fee to the plan sponsor, according to a news release.

To use this service, registered users log on to AUL’s Retirement Services Web site and fill out a questionnaire about their personal investment goals and preferences.   Using the information provided, Advice by Ibbotson gives investment recommendations tailored to the individual’s retirement goals.
