In its announcement Aviva said Flex 9, Aviva Flex Select and Aviva Flex Plus are now available for funding via salary deferrals or 457(b) plan transfers. In addition, Aviva said two fixed income annuities will be available for the 457(b) plan market in the second quarter of 2006.
“With the help of Aviva’s 457(b) plan products, a wide range of public school and other government employees can maximize – and in many cases double – their tax-deferred contributions,” said Holly Burgess, Aviva’s Vice President of TSA Marketing, in the announcement. She added that sponsors may add the Aviva plans to their current plan document or use Aviva’s document at no charge.
