AXA Equitable Names Birmingham to Corporate Markets Post
A news release said Birmingham was named to the newly-established business unit of AXA Equitable that provides retirement plan strategies and solutions to Fortune 1000 companies and their employees (See AXA Business to Provide Retirement Plan Solutions for Large Companies ).According to the announcement, Birmingham will create and lead institutional marketing strategy and product development for the Corporate Markets business.
Birmingham has been in the institutional retirement industry for nearly 25 years in a variety of pension-related positions, including administration, systems development, and product pricing. He joins AXA Equitable from Genworth Financial where he was Vice President, Institutional Market Strategy for the Institutional Retirement Income Group.
Birmingham earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Boston University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Rutgers University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) professional designation.
