BBH Launches Institutional Investor Research Platform

August 14, 2001 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) has launched an online strategy research platform, offering institutional investors the ability to test investment hypotheses at the market, sector, group and individual stock level.

The new product, Strategic Synthesis, aims to make equity analysis and asset allocation simpler by enabling institutional clients to tailor a sector, group and stock filtering tool for monitoring their portfolios.

The platform utilizes the group’s proprietary strategy research products, namely:

  • The Guides to Financial Markets, which combines proprietary liquidity research with technical indicators;
  • Equity Sector Strategy, which is based on proprietary analytics and examines sectors’ profitability and price action for the S&P 1500 Super Composite.
  • Monitor of Analysts’ Earnings Revisions, which generates stock recommendations by focusing on trends in analysts’ earnings revisions, earnings surprise, earnings and revenue growth and relative price to sales valuation.
  • Strategic Focus List, which filters stock recommendations through the sector and industry group filters, generating a list of stocks that benefit from positive industry and group trends and are supported by analysts’ rising profit expectations.

Clients also benefit from email alerts triggered when BBH publishes research relevant to clients’ watch lists and sector or group preferences.
