Blue Cross Blue Shield Georgia, JPMorgan Ink HSA Deal

July 22, 2004 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia (BCBSGA) is providing Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) to its members.

BCBSGA’s HSA offer will providehealth care and financial management features directly to plan participants.   The HSAs will be provided by JPMorgan, according to a news release.

BCBSGA has arranged for ARCUS Financial, a division of ARCUS Enterprises, Inc., to provide services related to the opening and maintenance of these HSAs.

Previously, BCBSGA announced that it will be offering the High Deductible Health Plans ( HDHPs ) designed to be compatible with HSAs to individuals and group employees.   While individual HDHPs are currently available, group HDHPs and the integrated HSA administrative solution with JPMorgan are expected by year end.
