BNY Mellon Offers Corporate Governance Tool to Institutional Investors

August 2, 2007 ( - BNY Mellon Asset Servicing has come out with a corporate governance reporting tool to alert institutional investors about upcoming shareholder meetings, its positions in the companies holding these events, and share lending information.

According to a press release, the corporate governance information on these companies will be available on the latest version of Workbench, a browser-based information delivery system.

“We continue to enhance and upgrade the Workbench information delivery system with features that are timely and important to our clients’ success,” said Vince Sands, executive vice president of BNY Mellon Asset Servicing, in the press release. “Increasingly, clients are demanding more sophisticated services to supplement our existing offering and to better address issues such as corporate governance.”
