CalPERS Wins Salary Battle

February 6, 2004 (PLANSPONSOR.com)—California Public Employees Retirement System's (CalPERS) board has the authority, because of state law that went into effect January 1, to decide salaries for 28 of the 165 investment officers employed by CalPERS, as well as CalPERS' actuary.
