Cammack LaRhette Launches Learning Series for Higher Ed Sponsors

October 5, 2009 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Cammack LaRhette Consulting is launching a new learning series of tools for plan sponsors at universities and colleges, The Cammack LaRhette 403(b) Curriculum.

The goal is to provide program participants with a better understanding of how to develop cost-effective, competitive plans for employees.  Topics covered will include – the new 403(b) reporting and audit requirements; understanding 403(b) plan fees; fiduciary liability and how to protect yourself; getting ready for a 403(b) plan audit; and working with vendors/consultants.

The Cammack LaRhette 403(b) Curriculumwill consist of a full year of learning opportunities divided into two semesters.  Plan sponsors will have the opportunity to receive e-mailed articles twice a month on topics written by Cammack LaRhette Consulting 403(b) experts as well as program partners that specialize in legal, accounting and investments specific to 403(b) plans. 

Sponsors will also have access to two Webinars where new issues will be discussed and questions will be answered by Cammack LaRhette and partner experts.  Registered participants will have access to a dedicated “Ask the Expert” section on the Cammack LaRhette’s Web site.  

In addition, in-person roundtable meetings are in the planning stages in New York City, Boston, Chicago and Washington DC, where industry experts from Cammack LaRhette, plus legal, accounting and investment experts in 403(b) plans will be available to discuss challenges and potential solutions.
