Chien Named Watson Wyatt Global Health-Care Director

December 11, 2003 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Watson Wyatt Worldwide has tapped Ted Chien as global director of group and health care consulting services.

According to a news release, in Chien’s new role, he will have overall responsibility for managing and driving growth within the firm’s group and health care consulting business.

Chien has more than 15 years of health care and benefits consulting experience, according to the announcement. He joined Watson Wyatt in 1992. Most recently, he served as national director for thought leadership and innovation for the group and health care practice and managed the firm’s Minneapolis office, where he will continue to be based.


Chien has a bachelor’s degree in math and computer science from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
