The NFL franchise has announced that there will be weekly and grand prizes for the World’s Greatest Bengals Growl as part of a new partnership between the team and Columbus, Ohio-based Nationwide Insurance, which has been named the official insurance provider of the Cincinnati Bengals.
“We are proud to welcome Nationwide Insurance to the organization and look forward to having them in the Bengals’ family for years to come,” said Katie Blackburn, executive vice president of the Cincinnati Bengals. “Our fans will also be excited to participate in the on-site elements of what is a truly unique and creative partnership.”
According to a press release, Nationwide’s goal is to raise awareness through the live interactions with Bengals fans by “enhancing their overall experience on game day”. Among other events, there will be free water taxi rides for Bengals fans to the stadium on the Nationwide ferry boat in November and December.
“Cincinnati Bengals fans are among the most passionate in the NFL,” said John Aman, associate vice president, strategic sponsorships for Nationwide Insurance. “It’s this passion that we feel is a perfect match for the Nationwide brand.”
Nationwide Insurance says that it, “like Bengals fans across the country”, is gearing up for the regular season home opener against the Baltimore Ravens on September 19.
