Clark/Bardes Buys Coates Kennedy

Consulting may benefit from the group's additional resources
following its acquisition of Coates Kenney, Inc.

Coates Kennedy provides actuarial, consulting, and administrative services to retirement plans and post-retirement medical plans.
Clark/Bardes will pay $1.2 million, with an initial $600,000 in cash and contingent payments of $600,000 in stock – payable over three years provided that certain revenue targets are met.
This is Clark/Bardes Consulting’s eighteenth acquisition since the company’s initial public offering in August 1998.
