Computershare To Acquire Schwab's ESPP Business

November 7, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Computershare, Ltd. will acquire Charles Schwab's employee stock purchase plan (ESPP) clients.

Schwab’s current ESPP clients will be integrated into Computershare’s current technology, administration and participant services platform. Computershare will also receive referrals for future ESPP business from Schwab.

The new alliance will also offer ESPP and stock option packages to prospects and clients desiring the combined service. Schwab will retain and continue to service its stock option plan clients.
