In July, VALIC began offering a Fixed-Interest Option with 50-basis-point compensation to the financial adviser, allowing advisers greater flexibility to control level compensation, according to a news release.
Available to 401(k) and — with approval — 403(b) plans, VALIC’s Fixed-Interest Option has historically been offered with either 0 or 25 basis points in adviser compensation.
