The Consultant Access Portal (CAP) is meant to deliver search engines and management tools for financial consultants that provide investment advice on CPIs recordkeeping and administration platform, according to a press release.
The system is meant to identity participants in need of additional help and it will allow the consultant to provide assistance to the participants, according to the announcement. The program also includes:
- a loan and distribution status tool that allows the financial consultant to check the status of such procedures for either an individual or group
- a conversion status toll that allow the consultant to monitor plan conversion progress
- the Spider, a information tool that allows a consultant to access annual compliance testing and reports, benefits statements and report packages, and plan documentation.
To introduce the tool, CPI will hot Internet-based seminars in March and April, the company said.
