DATAIR Releases PPA Windows Valuation System for Defined Benefit Plans
November 19, 2009 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - DATAIR has announced the latest release of its DB System, described as the “next-generation Defined Benefit software for proposals, compliance testing, valuation and administration”.
DATAIR’s DB System includes PPA funding rules with yield curves, Funding Target and Target Normal Cost, segment rates, automatic rate and yield curve look-ups, at-risk calculations, cushion amount increase, FTAP and AFTAP certifications and notices, as well as other features, according to the announcement.
The DB System is for TPAs, consultants and employers of all sizes and handles many benefit formulas including those for Cash Balance Plans. It features a scalable SQL database and may be run on stand-alone and networked computers. It shares data with other DATAIR Windows systems, and DATAIR includes webinar training, support and “all updates with affordable fees,” according to the firm.
