DuPont Capital Names New Chief
April 22, 2004 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - DuPont Capital
Management (DCM) has tapped Valerie Sill as president and
chief executive officer, succeeding Edward Basset who retired
last year after 26 years of service.

A DuPont news release said Sill joins DCM from The Boston Company where she was an executive vice president and director of large cap value equities. At The Boston Company, Sill chaired the Equity Policy Group and the Mellon Investment Research Forum, a group of investment professionals from each of Mellon’s investment management subsidiaries.
Sill is a graduate of Wellesley College, where she majored in economics and philosophy. She also holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
