EquiLend Adds Portfolio Auction Ability to Trading Platform

June 15, 2005 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - EquiLend, the global equity and fixed income securities lending firm, has added a portfolio auction capability to its core trading platform.

A news release said that EquiLend AuctionPort provides the ability for lenders to host and conduct blind and open auctions of portfolios on behalf of their clients.

“EquiLend AuctionPort provides another route to market and distribution model for our clients,” Dirk Pruis, President and CEO said in the announcement. “Many of our clients view auction capability as a platform ‘must-have.’ As with most functions, this view is driven by the needs of the lenders’ clients who are looking at exclusive auctions as another route to market.”
