Fiduciary Definition Change Comment Period Set to Close April 12

March 28, 2011 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – Federal regulators have announced that the deadline for public comment about whether the term “fiduciary” should be expanded has now been set for April 12, 2011.

The U.S. Department of Labor’s Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) previously announced that comment period would close 15 days after EBSA posted online the transcripts of the March 1 and  March 2, 2011, Washington, D.C. fact-gathering sessions (see EBSA Extends Comment Period for Fiduciary Definition Change).
