Firm Announces Benefits Suite Enhancements

March 27, 2006 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - AMS Benefits, a provider of benefits software and automation services, has added two features to its AgencyCenter suite of applications to help brokers enable employers to attract and retain workers.

An AMS Benefits news release said that the new Benefits Benchmarking tool allows employers to compare their benefit packages to other employers. Also, Total Compensation Statements, which gives employers a vehicle to communicate the total value of the pay and benefits programs to workers, has been added to its BenefitsCenter application. 


The Benefits Benchmarking feature provides access to benefits information including average employee size, average amount spent on health care or the total amount spent on employee benefits.  With this application, brokers can benchmark against their own customer base or against a larger pool to determine how their clients compare to national averages.

The Total Compensation Statements solution delivers information to employees either online or as a printed statement. Employees see a comprehensive snapshot of their cash compensation, including base salary, commissions, bonuses and overtime, as well as their employee benefits, including health care and retirement benefits, paid-time off, vacation time and tax savings programs.
