Firm Targets Advisors For Clearinghouse Platform

February 18, 2003 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - A Dallas firm is offering its execution, custody and transaction clearing platform to independent investment advisors.

Penson Financial Services, Inc., has reconfigured its existing platform for the independent advisor who selects individual securities for the advisor’s managed accounts, the company said in a news media release. Pension said more than 150 clients already use the platform, including correspondent broker/dealer firms, for hundreds of thousands of securities and futures transactions daily.

Penson said the platform offers client information reporting and online customer account information for the client and the advisor.
