First Mercantile Upgrades Site

plan provider First Mercantile Trust Company has revamped its
Web site.

The expanded and redesigned site gives client companies and their employees access to:
- real-time stock market quotes,
- charts, and
- market news provided by CBS MarketWatch.com
Users can also find answers to questions about 401k retirement plans, profit sharing plans, ESOPs, defined benefit, or other employee benefit plans at the site’s new Business Solutions section.
At the site’s new Resource Center, plan participants can access a glossary of investment terms and attend 401k University to learn more about their defined contribution plans.
First Mercantile’s site ( www.firstmerc.com ) also features a Personal Investing section, which provides information on the Acorn account and Elite program, new products that are scheduled for introduction by First Mercantile in the upcoming quarter.
The group also provides plan sponsors with online access to electronic forms to facilitate administration of their plans and participants can access to their balances and other plan information.
