FOLIOfn Expands Lineup to Financial Advisors

September 30, 2003 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Financial advisors and separately managed account (SMA) and mutual fund wrap sponsors now have access to FOLIOfn, Inc's open-ended mutual fund offering on its FOLIO Advisor and FOLIO Manager platforms.

FOLIOfn offers self-directed portfolios enabling individuals to choose from a number of style- or sector-specific preselected portfolios, tweak those portfolios, or even create their own totally personalized stock baskets with between one and 50 stocks.   With the expansion, the Vienna, Virginia-based company will extend to the advisor market the ability to create and manage diversified portfolios of securities for multiple clients, according to a news release.

Additionally, FOLIOfn provides model synchronization and trading front office technology, with:

  • integrated tax management tools
  • automated stock exclusions
  • online proxy voting
  • client level access
  • multiple client and firm-level permissioning.
