In St. Petersburg, Florida, a man banned from a 7-Eleven set out for revenge. He is accused of dumping a bucket containing human fe.ces and ur.ine inside the store. According to The Smoking Gun, he “apparently obtained the waste from a portable toilet.” The man was identified by the store manager from store surveillance and was charged with trespass and criminal mischief.

 

In Texarkana, Arkansas, a teen needed a ride to an out-of-state concert, so he jumped the fence at the city’s regional airport and hopped inside an American Eagle jet. He was inside the cockpit when he was arrested. According to the Associated Press, he told police he thought piloting the plane would involve little more than pushing buttons and pulling levers.

 

In Sanford, Florida, a woman fleeing police got out of her car and ran through a pasture. But, police had help capturing her. According to the Associated Press, a Seminole County Sheriff’s helicopter captured video of a large group of cows following her. The cows eventually ran the woman into a fence, where police were waiting to arrest her.

 

In Japan, a long-wedded couple has just been granted a Guinness world record. It has just declared the couple as its oldest living married couple. Masao Matsumoto, 108, and his 100-year-old bride, Miyako Sonoda, were married October 20, 1937, nearly 81 years ago.

 

In Swampscott, Massachusetts, Construction crews tearing down a former middle school in Massachusetts found a 124-year-old time capsule under one of the front steps of the former Swampscott Middle School. The Daily Item reports the capsule is dated April 28, 1894, the day the school was dedicated. It contains two newspapers, remnants of military uniforms from the Civil War, a war medal and names of locals who served in the war. Planning Board Chairwoman Angela Ippolito says the board hopes to put the items on display at Town Hall.
