FRIDAY FUN – September 25, 2020

And now it's time for some FRIDAY FUN!

A failed restraint attempt, birthday cake mishaps, and more.

In Sri Lanka, a detainee at a high-security prison has escaped. The AFP reports that a cat was detected by jail intelligence officials with nearly two grams of heroin, two SIM cards and a memory chip tied around the its neck. It was detained that day, but the next day, somehow escaped the room where it was being kept.

In Canton, Georgia, an arrest was not the only bad luck for a man who fled police. The man was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over for a tag violation. The Associated Press reports that he ran into the woods when the car was stopped. He left behind a backpack in which police found methamphetamine and a lotter scratch off ticket that was a $100 winner. The man was later taken into custody. The police said he could have the lottery ticket back, but not the drugs.
