ftwilliam.com Releases Annual Funding Notice Software

March 27, 2009 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - ftwilliam.com has released software to assist in the preparation of defined benefit plan Annual Funding Notices.

According to a press release, the notice will include a batch feature so that ftwilliam.com customers may batch print all of their Annual Funding Notices as well as customize a cover letter for each client on the system.

The notice software is provided free of charge to all of ftwilliam.com’s Form 5500 Software subscribers. In addition, each checklist that is used to generate the notice will be pre-populated with 2006, 2007 and 2008 plan information, from the Form 5500, Schedule H or I, Schedule MB or SB and from the plan document specifications stored in the ftwilliam.com software.

Similar to other forms and notices on ftwilliam.com, the Annual Funding Notice will include features such as extensive edit checking and context sensitive help buttons and the notices are available as either a Word document or as a PDF file, the announcement said.

Annual Funding Notices are required to be distributed for most defined benefit plans insured by the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation as early as April 30, 2009 (see 2009 ERISA Compliance Calendar for DB/DC/403(b) Plans ).
