With the acquisition, Gevity immediately adds more than 2,100 new clients and 30,000 new client employees to our portfolio. Gevity, a provider of outsourced human capital management solutions, said the acquisition cost $36 million in cash.
Speaking to the transition, Gevity Chairman and CEO, Erik Vonk said in a news release “this will be a completely seamless transition. Today, each of our new clients is being individually welcomed and provided with the immediate and direct benefit of our leading edge technology and expanded services, designed to provide high impact human resource solutions. “
This is the second acquisition for Gevity in recent months. In November, Gevity acquired 1,500 clients with approximately 16,000 worksite employees from TeamStaff Human Resource Outsourcing (See Gevity Acquires TeamStaff’s HR Outsourcing Portfolio ).
