In this new position, Plumberg is responsible for developing 401(k) plan business through brokers, financial advisers, consultants, wire houses, and third-party administrators. He reports to Joe Smolen, regional vice president.
According to a press release, before joining Great-West, Plumberg spent six years with Nationwide, most recently as a regional vice president covering Kansas and Missouri.Earlier, he worked as a financial adviser for Prudential Financial.Plumberg holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri. He also has FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registrations and life and health insurance licenses.
