Guardian Retirement Adds Regional Sales VPs

Fennessy will focus on retirement sales for Guardian in the Pacific Northwest, specifically in Alaska, Washington, Oregon and northern Idaho. Jennings, with more than 13 years of retirement plan industry experience, will be responsible for developing a wide range of retirement business through nonproprietary channels throughout Los Angeles and Ventura counties in California. Matson will be responsible for retirement sales in Arizona, New Mexico and Oklahoma.

Fennessy brings 13 years of financial services experience to Guardian, most recently as the regional sales director for Great-West Retirement Services. A graduate of Bloomberg University, he has a degree in business management and an M.B.A in finance from St. Joseph’s University. He is Series 7, 6 and 63 licensed.

Formerly a regional sales director at The Hartford, Jennings received his B.B.A. in economics and finance at the University of Oklahoma’s Price College of Business. He is Series 3, 31, 63, 65, 7, life, health, and insurance licensed.

Matson brings more than seven years of industry experience with a wide and varied background to his role at Guardian. He has a B.S. in marketing from Arizona State University and he is Series 6 and 63 licensed.
