Guardian Website Allows Benefits Plan Changes

June 19, 2013 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – Guardian Life Insurance Company of America now permits benefits brokers and employers to request health plan changes online.

Through the Guardian Anytime website, brokers and plan holders will be able to quickly and easily request plan changes such as waiting period, termination of coverage, dependent age limit, open enrollment period, and legal plan name and address. Users are updated throughout the process with e-mail notifications and transaction logs to ensure the experience is as efficient and seamless as possible. The new online capabilities take the place of previously manual tasks, which were paper intensive and difficult to keep track of.

“Health care reform is putting unprecedented pressure on brokers and plan holders who are increasingly looking to their service providers to help them save time and be more efficient,” said Andrea Csaszar, vice president, Group Customer Service Delivery.
