A Hewitt news release said its new partner is Human Link (HLC), a Japanese personnel administration firm established by Mitsubishi Corporation.
The new company, Hewitt HLC, will target multinational enterprises in Japan for human resources services, including personnel, compensation, and benefits outsourcing services.
“With an increasing number of companies establishing a presence in Japan, this deal enables us to expand our global outsourcing capabilities to serve them,” said Bryan Doyle, president of Hewitt’s global HR outsourcing business, in the news release.
Hewitt HLC, which is based in Tokyo, is already providing services to several of Hewitt’s global outsourcing clients in Japan, including Sun Microsystems, according to the announcement.
