Hewitt Unveils UK Health Consulting

July 25, 2006 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Hewitt Associates announced it is launching a health care consulting practice in the United Kingdom.

A Hewitt news release said the new practice will work with companies on all aspects of managing employee health, from developing and implementing health management strategies to advising on health-related benefits and services.

James Kenrick, who has more than 20 years of health care experience, has been appointed to lead the health care practice.

“The reality is that managing corporate health has become a burning issue, impacting productivity and improving the financial bottom line. Our offering will leverage Hewitt’s global expertise and enable UK clients to manage the overall well-being of their employees more effectively, delivering a more productive and motivated workforce,” said Kenrick, in the news release.

Susan DeGregorio, global health management practice leader, said  that health care is becoming a critical business issue for employers around the world because more employers are continuing to expand into new regions and, as a result, have growing numbers of employees worldwide.
