Ibbotson Launches Hedge Fund Advisory Service

Ibbotson’s services, to be headed up by Ezra Zask, will include hedge fund due diligence and selection, portfolio construction and risk management. Zask brings to the table two decades of founding, organizing, managing and consulting to numerous hedge funds and hedge funds of funds, according to a news release.

Currently, Zask is a lecturer at Princeton University’s Bendheim Center for Finance, and has taught at Carnegie Mellon’s graduate school. Previously, he was a senior vice president with Manufacturers Hanover and Mellon Bank with responsibility for trading and capital markets. Zask holds a B.A. from Princeton University and an M.A. from Columbia University.
